Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Loria. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1.Acceptance & Who These Terms Are With
These Terms of Service ('Terms') form a legally binding agreement between you and Giovana Penatti, an individual operating the Loria service from England & Wales ('Loria', 'we', 'us', 'our').
By registering for or using Loria, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2.Eligibility
To use Loria, you must:
- Be at least 16 years old
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction
- Provide accurate information during account creation
By using Loria, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.
3.The Service
Loria provides AI-powered training guidance personalised to female physiology. The service includes training plan generation, cycle-aware adaptations, check-in logging, and activity integration via Strava.
Important: Loria provides training guidance only. Nothing in the Loria service constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical questions.
4.Health Disclaimer
HEALTH DISCLAIMER: Loria is a training tool, not a medical service. The content and recommendations provided by Loria are for informational and training purposes only. They do not replace advice from a qualified clinician, physiotherapist, or medical professional. If you experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, chest discomfort, or any other concerning symptoms during exercise, stop immediately and seek medical attention. Do not rely on Loria to make decisions about your health.
By using Loria, you acknowledge that you participate in any training activities at your own risk. We encourage all users to consult a doctor or qualified health professional before starting a new exercise programme, particularly if you have any pre-existing health conditions.
5.Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate, current, and complete information about yourself during registration and use
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Notifying us immediately at hello@getloria.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
You may only hold one account. Creating duplicate accounts to circumvent restrictions is prohibited.
6.Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Loria platform
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to access the source code of Loria
- Abuse, overload, or interfere with AI features or the platform infrastructure
- Use Loria for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity or affiliation
- Introduce malware, viruses, or other harmful code into the service
7.Third-Party Services
Strava
Loria integrates with Strava via OAuth. By connecting your Strava account, you also agree to Strava's own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Loria is not responsible for Strava's data practices or service availability.
AI Outputs
AI-generated training plans, insights, and recommendations are produced probabilistically. They may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your specific circumstances. You should apply your own judgement and, where relevant, seek professional guidance before acting on AI outputs.
8.User Content
You retain full ownership of the content you submit to Loria, including check-in data, free-text notes, and any other personal inputs ('User Content').
By submitting User Content, you grant Loria a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, and use that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the service for you. We will not use your User Content for any other purpose without your consent.
9.AI Outputs
AI-generated content within Loria — including training plans, cycle adaptations, and coaching messages — is provided on an 'as is' basis. It:
- Does not constitute professional coaching advice
- Does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
- May not be appropriate for all individuals or health conditions
- Should be used in conjunction with, not as a substitute for, qualified professional advice where relevant
10.Subscriptions & Pricing
Loria is free to use during version 1 (beta). We may introduce paid subscription plans in future. If and when we do:
- We will provide you with clear advance notice of any pricing changes
- Paid plans will be subject to separate subscription terms provided at the time of purchase
- Existing free users will not be automatically charged without explicit opt-in
11.Termination
By You
You may stop using Loria at any time. To request deletion of your account and associated data, email us at hello@getloria.com. We will action deletion requests within 30 days, in line with our Privacy Policy.
By Loria
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or use the service in a way that causes harm to others or to Loria. Where reasonably practicable, we will notify you before taking action. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Data retention upon termination is governed by our Privacy Policy.
12.Warranties & Disclaimers
Loria is provided 'as is' and 'as available'. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including:
- Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- Warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
- Warranties as to the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.
13.Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by English law, Loria's total liability to you in connection with the service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you have paid to us in the 12 months prior to the claim, or (b) £100.
We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of goodwill.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for: death or personal injury caused by our negligence; fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.
14.Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Loria, its officers, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the service in violation of these Terms
- Your User Content
- Your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights
15.Changes to the Service & These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or via an in-app notification at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
We may also modify, update, or discontinue features of the service at any time. Where a change significantly affects your use of the service, we will aim to give reasonable notice.
16.Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of Loria shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer in the EU, you may also have rights under the laws of your country of residence that we are required to comply with.
